We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting an in-person daylong training in East Boston, Massachusetts on October 19th, 2023
Over the last decade, we have trained and coached leaders and activists from hundreds of different organizations and have noticed that most are unaware of the season their own individual leadership or their organizations are in, creating strategic misalignment, missed opportunities, and potentially burnout.
Our Seasons of Leadership training is about the cyclical patterns that exist in our leadership and social movement organizations. Seasons and cycles help us to understand, appreciate and protect the ebbs and flows that occur throughout our time in this work.
We believe that each stage in a cycle has a purpose, gift, and limits that can be applied to our lives, leadership, organizations, and movements. During this training we will dive into our leadership and organizational seasons specifically, and provide answers to some of the common questions that come up when we’ve previously shared the framework:
- What do seasons look like in my leadership? What should I be doing and how can I get support?
- How can we integrate seasonality into our work and lives? What are some next steps I can take?
- What should we do if I’m in one season and my organization is in another?
Because this is an in-person training, space will be limited to 35 people, so please make sure you register today if you plan on attending.

Location
In-person in East Boston, MA
Our office is located at 23 Meridian Street, East Boston, about 10 minutes from the Boston Logan Airport and can be accessed through public transportation. The training will take place on the 2nd floor and is not wheelchair accessible.
Out of State Travelers
We ask participants to arrange and cover their own lodging and travel costs, if needed. For lodging, there are several hotels located just a few minutes away from our office. Just search for hotels in the East Boston zipcode of 02128 near Maverick Square. Linked below are three hotels near our office.

Covid Safety
COVID Precaution Guidelines (In person participants):
For our in person training, our Ayni Team will be testing consistently. We ask that before attending the first session you test negative, this ensures we don’t accidentally put others at risk of COVID-19 (especially those that are immunocompromised in our training team and within our participant cohort).
We encourage you to wear a mask, especially if we are indoors, but they are not required in order to participate. Please do what you feel most comfortable doing.
If COVID symptoms arise, please contact us immediately and refrain from coming in person. Even if symptoms do not arise and you feel you have been exposed, please get a PCR test (it can be done at your local CVS) to ensure you are negative before coming back to being in-person.
